The Soldiers Project Invites You to a Conference: Hidden Wounds of War: Pathways to Healing May 16-18, 2008 Westin Bonaventure Hotel, Los Angeles

The Soldiers Project is part of the Ernest J. Lawrence Trauma Center of the Los Angeles Institute& Society for Psychoanalytic Studies. We have been offering free psychotherapy to soldiers and families since 2004. For our first national conference, we have invited experts, who will speak about the treatment of combat trauma, and the psychological challenges of war, deployment and homecoming for soldiers and families.

The conference is open to therapists, military, vets; adult loved ones, and those who are working to help soldiers and families. Hey Marines: What your seeing in this photo is the net result of a lot of prayers to a loving God asking him to give Doody back to us.

Hopefully one day soon he may be back with his Marine Brothers. Double up on the prayers, God is doing some great work here.

Veterans Home Golf Classic

MONDAY – MAY 5, 2008 - EAST LAKE COUNTRY CLUB
2375 CLUBHOUSE DRIVE, CHULA VISTA CA, 91915

Support the residents of the Veterans Home in Chula Vista and enjoy a day of golf with your friends and fellow-supporters of the San Diego military and veteran communities.

The registration table and practice tee will open at 11:00am.
There will be a Shotgun start at noon.
A box lunch will be provided before the round, at 11:00am.
There will also be a barbecue dinner and awards ceremony in the Clubhouse following the round.
Prizes will include a 2008 Dodge Charger to the first player to make the “hole in one,” and there will be a sealed bid drawing for two round trip airline tickets to anywhere in the Continental United States.
